Visiting US Air force (USAF) Chief of Staff, General David L. Goldfein flew a sortie earlier today on a trainer variant of India’s indigenous light combat aircraft, the Tejas, at Air Force Station Jodhpur. The plane was flown by Air Vice Marshal (AVM) A.P Singh of the Indian Air force (IAF). With this flight, General Goldfein has become the second chief of a foreign Air force to have flown in the Tejas, with the Chief of the Turkmenistan Air force being the first. He also joins a steadily growing stream of foreign visitors who have evinced an interest in spending time with the Tejas, up close.
